2011 Lake Anita

The Troop headed out on its June campout at Lake Anita.  This trip we took a 5 mile hike, learned about 'Leave No Trace', and worked on the Fishing merit badge (catching, cleaning, cooking, and eating fish).  We were blessed by missing the big storms which just north of us. This campout was a new experience for many. We had 30 people in camp.

Lake Anita is definitely a great place to camp and enjoy friendships.  We even found a thing from the past,  a functional phone booth.
