2010 Iowa Energy Game

The Mid-Iowa Council treated the Scouts that sold $1000 or more of popcorn to an Iowa Energy basketball game. The pre-game reception was filled with pizza, drinks, the opportunity for some activities, followed by special recognition of the Scouts that sold more than $2500 of popcorn. Our Pack was blessed with 2 Scouts to sell more than $2500 and a total of 11 that sold more than $1000. We had the most in both categories of any other Pack or Troop. Once recognized the Scouts lined up and took the tunnel from HyVee Hall to Wells Fargo Arena. There they waited patiently and received their orders for the flag ceremony for the basketball game. The boys marched out on the court and displayed the colors.  Then the Top Sellers were recognized during the game.  Another fun outing for the Scouts!
